I'm Kaan Demirel. I build small, composable tools around AI, automation, and local-first software. The point is useful systems whose decisions and failure modes stay visible.
How I build
AI suggests; people approve.
AI can draft, filter, and summarize. Anything you cannot undo should first show what it is about to do, then wait for a yes.
Own the failure modes.
With a local-first or self-hosted system you can see where the data sits, how to get it back, and who has to keep it running. A managed service puts all of that behind its own boundary.
